The Rob Roy Piper

"Connor You were out of this world brilliant and so patient and lovely!!!!! The bagpipes always pull at my heartstrings and you playing them was perfect!!!"
Thank you so so much Connor, you were amazing, not only was the piping perfect but you were a calm voice for the both of us, everyone we spoke to had such high praise.  Our day was perfect and you really did save the day when we were let down by the band. Can’t speak highly enough of you, we will absolutely recommend you to anyone and everyone.
heartfelt thank you for stepping up to the plate and assisting us during the ceremony.
Many people observed your kindness and it was mentioned throughout the day.
A calming presence amongst total mayhem.

WEDDINGS

A piper at your wedding can create a breathtaking atmosphere from the moment your guests arrive.

Before your big day, we can discuss together exactly what you, as the happy couple, would like.

Having piped at events for 15+ years, I can offer my advice and experience to help make your day as special as you have always imagined.

Your wedding day is a moment where you can be the boss, so you can decide where you would like to hear the bagpipes next and it is completely flexible to each occassion.

Some common requests for a wedding are:

- Piping at the entrance to give your guests a

  memorable welcome.

- Piping the couple down or back up the aisle at the

end of the ceremony to their chosen tune.

- Piping guests to your evening venue

- Piping the couple to their seats at dinner

SPECIAL DATES

Whether it's a Bonfire Night, St Andrews Day, the Summer Soltice or Burns Night, the special dates are usually any piper's busiest ones.

I work on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to get in contact as early as possible to book.

EVENTS

One of the great privileges of being a musician is that you get asked some very unusual requests:

Piping on mountains, castles, beaches and forests.

Piping on Spanish TV alongside Spanish guitarists

Leading a procession of Alpacas

Performing to the First Minister of Scotland.

No request is too unusual.

A piper is a unique addition to any event and whatever your event may be, we can work together to decide how to best incorporate a piper to make it a memorable part of your day.

Regardless of the event, I will arrive smartly dressed in my kilt and with my bagpipes at the ready.

About

ADDITIONS

If you are looking for more mellow music during your event I can also play the Scottish Small Pipes for indoor events.

If you would like to enhance the spectacle at your event, I can also arrange additional pipers and dummers.

The Small Pipes look like a smaller version of the Highland bagpipe, yet have their own smooth sound which is much quieter and perfectly suited to indoor entertainment. My clients have loved having them as live background music during the social part of their event or for some late evening entertainment.

They sound fantastic both on their own and when accompanied by a guitar.

Small Pipes

Having a solo piper at your event can bring atmosphere and passion to your event, but a combined group of multiple pipers can amplify this and bring it to a whole new level. Whether you would like us spread out along a path to give your guests a marker to guide them on their walk, or in one group to give a striking start to your day, there is no doubt that the more pipers you have, the more memorable it will be.

Additional Pipers

To add a drummer into the mix can give the music an extra sense of rhythm and importance.

A snare drum is the main drum that you can hear in any pipe band. Their "rat-t-tat-tat" sound can make your mini group of players sound wonderfully sharp and together, bringing an extra sense of professionalism and spectacle to your event.
